Project Editor

The Project Editor lets you change the important parts of an HMI. It has different views for changing different parts of your project, like its Content, Data, Style, and HMI Users.


Top Bar

Project Menu

The Project Menu is located in the top bar of the Project Editor. It allows you to execute key actions on the currently open project, such as duplication and renaming.

Help Buttons

You can access help by using the Help buttons located within the Side Bar of the home page.


Editor Views

Content View

The Content View allows you to create and customize the visual elements of your project, such as the main Page Types as well as the Elements on those pages.

Data View

The Data View allows you to connect to data sources, define PLC connections, import PLC data into your project, and enhance it with valuable information such as units, limits, or ranges.

HMI Users View

The HMI Users View enables you to configure the initial HMI Users and Roles for your project. Roles allow you to control and limit access to specific pages or sections within your HMI.

Recipes View

Use the Recipes View to define your machine's Recipe Types and add ingredients to those recipes using the data model you have setup in the Data View.

Messages View

The Messages View is used to configure messages that inform operators about important machine events or state changes.

Settings View

The Settings View will help you set the basics of your HMI: Select which devices your HMI should be previewed on, set a description for your project, choose what you want your HMI to look like and much more.
